Rigid Profiles

These are used in many varied industries and can be made in coloured or clear material.
They can be simple, such as an ‘L’ angle, or more complex to fit with moulded parts.

Flexible

Flexible material comes in various hardness’s and can be coloured. There are various types of flexible materials for use in different types of industries.
You can also have different wall thicknesses when designing a flexible extrusion.

Tooling

All our tooling is produced by our specialist toolmakers who have over 25 years experience in designing and producing extrusion dies.
Once tooling is complete this is then passed to our production operatives who then test and sample against drawings.
Our toolmakers have all the latest up to date facilities and machines to produce accurate tooling from your drawings.
We are also able to offer help and advice on any new extrusion design and drawing.

Tubes

Tubes can be extruded in either Rigid or Flexible material and can be coloured or clear. Our sizes start from 3mm OD up to 75mm.
Plastic profiles and tubes can be produced in many varied materials both rigid and flexible and will advise which one would be suitable for your application.
Co-extrusion is made up of different materials or colours in the same extrusion. We can also offer our large range of standard profiles and tubes, otherwise we can make to your design..

Co-Extrusion

Theses combine two different materials/two different colours in the same plastic.

Point of Sale

We have a large range of Ticket Strips, Epos Strips and Label Holders.

Large Profiles

We have the capability of extruding up to approx. 140mm on profiles dependent on their design. Please contact us for further information.

Slat Wall Inserts

Not only do we manufacture and hold in stock 13 colours of Slatwall inserts, we also have tooling to manufacture End Trims, Corner Trims and Joining Trims to order.

Bespoke

We consider our ability to advise and produce your bespoke designs as second to none so please contact us for further advise or help with your designs.

Colour Matching

A full colour matching service is offered as standard on all plastic materials.

PVC RECYCLING

PVC or Polyvinyl Chloride is an oil based product used in the extrusion of plastic profiles and tubes and for some reason it is considered to be a bad product to use as it is not environmentally friendly or recyclable.

The fact is that PVC is no worse than that of Polycarbonate, PET-G or Acrylic as they are all oil based products and therefore it should all be considered unrecyclable.

However, here at Rigiflex we recycle approximately 98% of all our PVC waste on site by granulating back to chips small enough to go through our extrusion machines with the balance of 2% being sold to another company who ship it over to China where once there it is also re-chipped and then reused in other plastic products.

We are also happy to offer a return service so when our products have reached the end of their shelf life they can be returned to us for recycling.

Once the PVC has been granulated into chips small enough for our extrusion machines, they are then made into tubes for the construction industry.

Here at Rigiflex we can also recycle our ABS and Acrylic waste in the same way as we do our PVC so we really are 98% recyclable.
